cup noodles with caffeine pls.
i need to stay awake. exams are like 4 days away and im still slping like 12 hrs a day, including both day and night. i cant stop falling aslp. wats wrong with me?
isnt it ironic tt i seem to suffer from insomnia on normal days but just cant seem to keep my eyes open when i need to study - badly.
tea doesnt work for me cos i still snore after 10 cups, coffee's out of the question cos i just cant appreciate the bitter aftertaste. maybe cup noodles with do the trick. since i dont mind eating tt everynight. but where can i find noodles with caffeine? i tink im going nuts.
ok i gtg prepare dinner now. gonna mug in the library afterwards. if only the library stays open till 6am or smth (its currently open till 2am but i'll only be there after 9pm due to the inevitable crowd) since im slping after 6am, after a hearty supper - every night.
bout two nights ago, i had homemade bak kut teh at 4am with jon (my bro) and weilun. a night after, we had homemade teochew porridge with all the possible canned food lun can find from his secret stash of sg food.
sometime ago, i made super-nutritious abalone porridge with abalone (duh), dried scallops, red dates, minced carrots and chinese mushrooms and some other herbs. cooked for like 5hrs, yummy.
tonight's menu includes salted veg with duck soup ('xian chai ya tang') which im gonna start preparing right after i post this post up.
and tmr we're gonna have some homemade sharksfin soup (sadly w/o sharksfin) and stir-fry veg with abalone. just right to prepare us for the ardous weeks ahead.
cant believe im still so enthu bout dinner and supper everynight when exams are barely 90hrs away.
but well, hungrygeri can never be satisfied with anything less than a sumptous meal.
oh on a different note, i think mercy-killing should be allowed, despite the difficult position courts and parliament will be in to come up with specific definitions and impose limitations. what do you think?
the sanctity of life doctrine states that every person's life is inviolate. true. but to avoid further pain and suffering for the patient and his/her family when the patient has got zero chance of recovery, and to allow him/her to die in a peaceful and dignified manner are fundamental. then again, it's almost impossible to draw the line. ok wait im drifting.
tata.
