the past week
bangkok was the highlight. duh. stayed in a really nice hotel where we have our own suite and sumptous international buffet breakfast. although it was a mad rush since we practically only had one full day, we somehow managed to shop quite abit. food was cheap and good, esp the kangkong - so fresh, so green. rich gave me a mini surprise and it instantly warmed my heart.
wed was well-spent too. had my virgin meal at Pariss international buffet at tampines mall. realised its $10 cheaper than the ones in orchard and marina square. plus that uncle gave us student discount so we only paid $21 nett each for a buffet dinner that included fresh and baked oysters, all kinds of sashimi, crocodile bak kut teh, sharksfin soup, black pepper crab, teppanyaki blah blah blah. caught The Breakup - it was ok, not fantastic but i didnt fall asleep.
thurs:
met up with the a&g interns for dinner at marche. brought them to mitre thereafter to view the S$70million hotel but they didnt know how to appreciate it. then it was off to some posh bar and then mos. met utt there and got him a drink since i owed him one. daph cldnt stop smiling after taking a pic with him. well her mum wanted to run down and join us immediately after daph told her over the phone tt she's meeting utt. interesting mum. anyway we played "kiss the loser" game and we had unlimited drinks so eventually, daph and michelle got really high and it was hilarious. jenson was sleeping half the time! and brandon cld have gotten drunk if not for his car. luckily i drove too.
fri:
shopped at ntuc for an hour and bought 3 big bags of canned and dried food and all kinds of pastes, ready to ship to uk. then it was The Devil Wears Prada at midnight, not too bad a show.
sat:
missed IMH for the first time. feeling like shit now but at that time, i really cldnt bring myself to go due to personal reasons. anyway spent the later part of the afternoon watching season 3 of sex and the city with rich after visiting his mum. then it was off to kbox with leicesterians. we have some pretty gd singers among us. hmm
ok that sorta sums up the physical part of my past week. we'll leave the emotional part to a later time.
